We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Assistant on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career with a keen interest in children’s publishing.
Purpose of the Job
The role of Marketing Assistant is to assist in the promotion of Nosy Crow’s award-winning titles, from supporting our marketing campaigns to helping with the creation of a broad range of marketing materials and providing administrative support to the department.
The Marketing Assistant reports to the Senior Marketing Executive and will be joining the Sales and Marketing Department.
•Assisting with the creation of Nosy Crow’s rights guides, catalogues and printed marketing material
•Supporting our marketing campaigns, from planning to implementation, across a broad range of titles
•Maintaining and updating a marketing schedule
•Providing general administrative support and assisting in the smooth running of the office
Key skills, characteristics and capabilities:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to write persuasive copy
•A great eye for detail and the ability to proofread
•Strong organisation and time management skills
•A keen interest in children’s books
•Basic design skills using InDesign and Photoshop desirable but not essential
