Pavilion Publishing and Media produces a range of publications in the learning disabilities, mental health and social care sectors, from training materials to handbooks and digital platforms. These sectors have been part of the Pavilion brand for over 20 years, and are key to the organisation in terms of brand awareness and sales.
The Marketing Executive is responsible for working alongside the Marketing Manager to develop the marketing strategy for this part of the business, and execute all marketing activity, from direct marketing and catalogue marketing to digital, content marketing and data capture marketing for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Develop marketing strategy and marketing plans,execute marketing plans, plan and execute catalogue marketing, produce content marketing campaigns, produce data capture campaigns, develop product awareness through social media channels, email marketing campaigns, promote products using author "brand", report on ROI of campaigns, work alongside editorial, design and customer service teams, organise external event attendance.
Areas of Responsibility
Direct and digital marketing for all products in the range, data acquisition, acquisition and retention campaigns for digital subscriptions, annual catalogue marketing, project management, marketing planning and execution, analysis, market research, brand awareness, events marketing.
2-3 years practical marketing experience, marketing project management, campaign planning and co-ordination, exceptional copywriting skills, experience of using email marketing software and email campaigns, basic understanding of PR, experience of working to deadlines and budget, lateral thinking, good at problem solving, self motivated,strong attention to detail, strong commercial acumen and success, reporting/analytics, excellent communication and relationship building, research skills, confident presence at events.
