About the Job

Marketing and Website Manager
Lawrence and Wishart is a small independent publisher based in Chadwell Heath. We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing and website manager to join our supportive flat management structure and to work creatively and collaboratively with our small team. There are four principal aspects to this role: marketing and customer relations management, website management and development, and strategy development as part of the management team.
Applicants will have experience of working in detail on websites (loading and managing content, trouble-shooting front and back end), have marketing experience, excellent written and communication skills, be numerate and combine both creative and analytical abilities. You will need to be well informed about the political landscape as well as being committed to our values of openness, pluralism and democratic left-wing political formation.
We are very much open to applicants with a range of different professional experiences – you may have worked in publishing or management or the voluntary sector, but this is not essential, so please do not exclude yourself on these grounds. Rather, we are looking for someone who is committed to our pluralistic left and democratic ethos and who can help us realise the exciting potential of working in a small, independent, collaborative organisation.
If you have any questions, or if you wish to discuss your application further, please feel free to contact the team on 02085970090 or email katharine@lwbooks.co.uk.
A full job description and details about applying are available on the Lawrence and Wishart website: here.
