About the Job

To carry out Circulation activities in the areas of Journal Transitions, product price lists, system
To maintain and enhance systems used by Customer Services and Circulation so that orders can be efficiently processed and fulfilled
Organize transition journal activities to accurately replicate the journal in SAGE systems according to the agreed future business model covering specific financial, customer services and performance reporting needs for the transition
Perform due diligence on potential acquisitions, giving clarity on the difference between the current business model SAGE standard plus advice on best practice on how to migrate to the SAGE standard within the transition
Give advice on data quality of transition files to editors
Provide regular, comprehensive updates on the progress and schedule of journal transitions to stakeholders
Contribute to department activities in the creation and maintenance of official pricing information
Support colleagues in the ongoing system maintenance in the update of products to ensure that they price, fulfil, grace and renew correctly and meet accounting and reporting requirements.
Contribute to departmental testing efforts for OP&F roadmap items, working with IT to ensure test cases cover requirements, known use cases as well as regression test cases
Respond to Customer Service, Circulation and Fulfilment departments to identify bugs based upon their experiences, analyse, replicate and attempt to identify the cause of the problem before documenting and escalating to appropriate parties.

Ideally Educated to Degree Level
