Salary: Edinburgh University Press is a thriving academic books and journals publisher, with an emphasis on the Humanities and Social Sciences.
Due to an expansion of the sales team, we are now looking for a motivated, full-time Sales Administrator to provide support to the Regional Sales Manager and Head of Sales. Demonstrable administrative experience is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a busy environment.
Day-to-day activities include liaising with external global sales representatives and distributors, organising meetings and conferences, producing sales materials, assisting customers and providing sales reports. To that end, you should be organised and have an excellent knowledge of Excel and InDesign. We are also seeking an individual eager to pursue a career in publishing with proven experience in customer service and a confident telephone and email manner.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in marketing, editorial and production and will need to be a team player but be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative.
Benefits include 36 days’ holiday (including bank holidays) per annum, a pension scheme and flexible working.
