The opportunity
We are looking an energetic and enthusiastic graduate keen to embark on their publishing career. Hart Publishing is an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing and is one of the world’s leading law imprints. At Hart, we publish agenda setting legal titles and work with some of the most renowned lawyers both within the United Kingdom and in the wider legal community.
The role
∙ Provide key administrative support to the wider Hart team.
∙ Managing customer service queries, dealing with general phone and email queries.
∙ Managing and providing data to our distributor.
∙ Undertaking occasional research projects for marketing and editorial.
∙ It may also include very occasional support outside the office at book launches and conferences which will include some travel.
Skills, knowledge, experience
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
a strong knowledge of office systems (Word, Excel, Outlook)
a strong eye for detail
confidence when dealing with our external stakeholders such as authors and customers
the ability to work well with other
high level of organisational flair
This is a full time permanent position, based at our Bloomsbury offices at Kemp House, Chawley Park, Cumnor Hill, Oxford, OX2 9PH, UK.
