COMPLEX eBOOKS MANAGER, Group Production Department, Bloomsbury Publishing Plc

We are looking for an experienced Complex eBooks Manager to join our busy Group Production team.
Key tasks will include briefing and coordinating the production of our highly illustrated integrated mono and colour eBooks, across the Group’s prestigious and diverse list, ensuring that all projects are produced on schedule, to high quality standards and within controlled budgets.

The ideal candidate will have:
•a minimum of three years’ relevant experience (intricate knowledge of current colour eBook formats and enhancements, and reading devices is essential)
•a detailed knowledge of the production life cycle for fixed and reflowable files
•excellent organisational and time-management skills
•a keen eye for detail (proof-reading skills are desirable) and a good head for numbers
•line-management experience
•relevant technical expertise and IT skills
•knowledge of XML-based workflows

The role is a full-time permanent position, based at our main office in the heart of London’s west end, 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP.
