Faber International Sales Manager – Far East & Middle East

Faber is a leading independent literary publisher, recent winner of the Trade Publisher of the Year and Publisher of the Year. We are seeking to recruit an International Sales Manager to maximise our sales in the Far East and Middle East, including our exclusive distribution relationships in Singapore and India. We need someone who will be positive, passionate and motivated to deliver ambitious growth and profitability for all publishers in the Independent Alliance, in these territories.
As International Sales Manager, you will work closely with publishers and sales agencies in order to deliver the international sales budget and provide regular analysis and feedback on titles and markets. You will work creatively and collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to drive publishing strategy and be the first point of contact for these markets. As part of a busy and dynamic team, your responsibilities will include agreeing and monitoring turnover targets, supplying title forecasting, analysing pricing and market trends and attending key international conferences and sales meetings.
So, in addition to your proven international sales experience and knowledge of the publishing process, you will be confident and highly organised, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, whose affinity with our books and authors will champion international sales for Faber and the Independent Alliance.
