Ten reasons to exhibit at The 2019 London Book Fair with the IPG
Blog cover
Posted by IPG
The 2019 London Book Fair will be a special one for the IPG, with an exciting new academic publishing stand, a fresh app and lots more. Bookings are now open for our collective stands, which provide a great way to make the most of the Book Fair in the company of fellow members. Here’s why you should consider exhibiting with us.

1 High traffic

Our collective stand has long had some of the highest footfall anywhere at The London Book Fair. It’s a hub for the UK’s independent publishing sector and draws visitors from around the world looking for content.

2 Make contacts

Our collective stands are great places to meet old friends from independent publishing and make new contacts. Every year we are glad to hear of members who have picked up sales leads and tips for exploring the Book Fair from fellow publishers.

3 Flexible options

From spacious booths to compact shelf space, we have exhibiting options to suit all publishers’ needs and budgets. Explore the opportunities and contact us if you would like to discuss anything.

4 Stress-free logistics

The IPG team and our superb contractors build and dismantle stands so you don’t have to. We’ll also take delivery of your books and set them out, so that you’re ready to go as soon as you arrive at the Fair.

5 A new academic stand

New for 2019 is a separate stand for academic publishers in their dedicated section of the Book Fair. It will bring the IPG’s many successful university presses and other academic publishers into closer contact with their worldwide counterparts and customers.

6 Meeting space

If you don’t want to book a booth but still want to host a few meetings, we can help. Tables in our meeting zone can be booked in advance so you can be assured of the space you need.

7 IPG support

The friendly IPG team is on hand throughout the Book Fair. We’ll greet and direct your visitors, take your messages and do our best to answer any queries you have.

8 Meet buyers and experts

Our programme of speed-dating meetings with leading book buyers and experts is one of the most popular parts of the Book Fair. There’s no better place to book time with the UK’s leading booksellers, consultants and publishing service providers under one roof.

9 Book Fair app

Another innovation for 2019 will be our own London Book Fair app. Use it to connect with fellow exhibitors, send and receive messages and get the latest updates from the IPG team.

10 Easy access to our party!

Our stand party is one of the highlights of every London Book Fair. Seasoned party-goers will know that elbow room is at a premium, and exhibitors have quicker access to it than anyone else!
Bookings for our two collective stands at The 2019 London Book Fair can be made here. Contact us if you would like to learn more about your options. The Book Fair takes place from Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 March 2019.
