Jaime Marshall, MD of Higher Education at Macmillan and Katie Thorn, marketing director at Macmillan join the impressive speaker line-up for our September Digital and Marketing Quarterly.
Selling direct to consumers will be the big theme and the meeting will give members valuable tips on D2C sale, with perspectives from different areas of publishing. We will start with an overview of the opportunities and pitfalls of selling direct from Gareth Cuddy of publishing technology specialist Vearsa, previously known as ePubDirect. There will be a case study from James Woollam of F+W Media, who have transformed their business with direct to consumer sales. Steve Bohme of Nielsen Book rounds out a packed programme with the latest insights into consumers’ buying habits.
As well as our expert speakers, the evening will offer opportunities for networking over a glass of wine before and after. The DMQ will be held at 6pm on Thursday 17 September at the offices of Faber & Faber on Great Russell Street in London. Come and join us.
