  Arfana Islam
I graduated in 2008 with a 2:1 BA English Language and Literature from King's College University. Both before and during University I worked part-time in a variety of bookshops- Methvens, Ottaker's and Waterstone's. While in the bookshops I helped organise a regular Saturday Story Time for Children and participated in a number of high profile author events. After short stints at Ebury Publishing and Watson, Little Literary Agency, in March 2009 I joined Bounce! Sales & Marketing, a specialist Children's Publishing Sales Agency, as Educational and Export Sales Support. In this role I provided support to our Reps, Educational Accounts, Export Accounts, and a number of Publishers. I also created direct mail shots and newsletters specifically focused for our Educational Accounts.

From Cath Bruzzone, bsmall Publishing: I can highly recommend Arfana, see above bio, who has been covering for a sabbatical leave at Bounce and is now looking for another job. She is really willing, efficient and a lovely personality. Her experience is in sales and marketing but I think she could turn her hand to anything. She is looking for somewhere in London or within commuting distance of Slough.
