IPG member Carcanet publishes PN Review, a journal widely recognised as important in the world of poetry reading, writing and publishing. The journal contains new writing, reviews and many interesting articles about poets and poetry.
The Poetry Society is the organisation for poets and poetry publishers. The Small Presses and Little Magazines of the UK and Ireland, published by the Oriel Bookshop, The Friary, Cardiff, Wales gives a full address list of small presses that publish poetry.
A significant number of IPG publishers publish poetry, and their contact details can be found in the list of members, searchable by subjects published. Many of them have websites, which may be useful.
The National Association for Literature Development publishes a members list on its web site. This list is sorted geographically, and many NALD members are local arts associations and groups who may be able to give you useful advice about what is going on in your area.
The Poetry Library, at the Royal Festival Hall, may be able to provide lists on poetry competitions, major poetry-book publishers and poetry magazines. Contact 020 7921 0943.
