Membership of the IPG is open to publishers and to suppliers from businesses closely linked to publishing (sales representation, rights agents, marketing and PR organisations, and other such specialists).
 
We have three categories of membership:

· Full member (publishers who have a list of three or more published titles)
· Non-voting members (publishers with fewer than three titles in print)
· Supplier members

Supplier membership is capped at a maximum of 20% of the total membership, to preserve the primary emphasis on publishers and publishing.

Membership goes by company or organisation, not by individual, so that anyone within a member company is entitled to attend meetings. We ask for one named contact within each member organisation (usually the MD or a director).

Sole traders are welcome to apply for membership, and their membership details will be listed under their trading name.

New membership applications are reviewed at IPG Board meetings six times each year. Applications can only be accepted on a provisional basis until formally approved by the Board.
