Ali divides her time between running her own digital publishing company, Creative Content and working on a freelance and consultancy basis for her publishing clients, specialising in audio producing/directing, publishing and also casting audio book projects on their behalf. She is a multi Audie Award winning and Grammy nominated audio book producer and director. Her most recent award was for "best production" for the multi cast production of "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman, published by Harper Audio USA.
Her clients include Bloomsbury, Pan Macmillan, Palgrave Macmillan UK, Random House UK and USA, Harper Audio, USA, Nosy Crow, Quercus, Bonnier, Macmillan Audio USA, Penguin Audio USA, Scholastic UK, Hot Key Books, Brilliance Audio and the British Library.
She has produced numerous audio books for authors such as Neil Gaiman, Jeffrey Archer, Wilbur Smith, Terry Pratchett, Clive James, John Simpson, Agatha Christie, and Debbie Macomber to name just a few. She has worked with a wide variety of audio narrators including Derek Jacobi, Elizabeth McGovern, Dan Stevens, Emilia Fox, Richard E Grant, Neil Young, Bernard Cribbins, Emma Thompson (Grammy nominated) and of course her business partner, Lorelei King.
Creative Content is a digital publishing company who specialise in publishing audio and eBook content for sale via download. They also produce and supply content for the in flight entertainment sector.
Previously to this she was Audio Publisher at Pan Macmillan, responsible for developing and managing the audio publishing division of the Macmillan Publishing Group during which time Pan Macmillan won "Audio Publisher of the Year" at the 2005 Spoken Word Awards, acknowledged as the audio industry’s “Oscars”.
