2014 IPG Independent Publishing Awards
The IPG is delighted to launch the 2014 IPG Independent Publishing Awards. We hope you will join us in being part of our eighth annual Awards.
The IPG Independent Publishing Awards, run in partnership with The Bookseller and The London Book Fair and supported by our valued sponsors, have gone from strength to strength since they were presented for the first time in 2007. Since then we have celebrated the success of dozens of companies and established the Awards as one of the highlights of the publishing calendar.
We hope you will consider entering the 2014 Awards in at least one of our categories. There are 12 different Awards in all, covering a wide variety of publishing fields and disciplines, and making a submission is simple. This page will give you all the background information you will need to complete your nomination, including comprehensive details of all the categories and criteria, a guide to the submission process and the information we ask you to include, and some handy tips for sharpening up your entry.
You will also find some thoughts on the value of winning an IPG Independent Publishing Award from some of our past recipients. Many tell us that their Award has had a massive impact on their business, transforming their profile within the publishing industry and providing a lift to everyone who works at the company. Simply making an Award shortlist can have an energising effect, and even the process of entering is valuable in itself, since it provides the opportunity to reflect on past achievements and future ambitions.
Given all these benefits, we warmly encourage all IPG members to enter the 2014 Awards. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain — and you could follow:
If you require any help completing your entry or have any queries about the Awards, please contact the IPG — we are always happy to provide guidance. We look forward to receiving your entries and celebrating the Awards with us during the IPG’s Annual Conference on Thursday 28 February 2014. Good luck!
